The book History, Religion, Politics by a historian Aleksandar Raković is a collection of 77 texts published from 2013 to 2016 for official magazine of the Serbian Orthodox Church Pravoslavlje. The book is socially and politically engaged with a clear attitude of author as a Serb patriot who firmly stands against imperialism and segregationism.

Such stand was especially required for some topics and it was shown as a resistance against political revisionism of history of the First World War, against intentions of the Roman Catholic Church of Croats (in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina) to canonize Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac, the Military Vicar of Nazi-like so-called Independent State of Croatia during the Second World War, against permanent sowing of apple of discord on post-Yugoslav space by various Western structures, against current Euro-Atlantic interventionism against Arab and Russian world.

As a coordinator of interfaith dialogue of the Republic of Serbia and at the University of Belgrade, author also gives firsthand information on fruitful state-religious dialogue of the Republic of Serbia and gainful interfaith dialogue of traditional churches and religious communities in the Republic of Serbia: the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church, the Islamic Community of Serbia, the Jewish Community, the Slovak  Evangelical  Church  (a.c.),  the  Christian  Reformed Church and the Evangelical Christian Church (a.c.).

Author concludes that political West is slowly disintegrating after British exit from European Union and air bombing of Turkish capital Ankara during a coup d’état attempt in the second largest NATO country, both in 2016. Very often Islamic terrorist attacks on targets in Western Europe make situation even worse. On the other hand, author again underlines the necessity of integration of the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Srpska, Montenegro and the Republic of Macedonia – countries that are religiously, ethnically, culturally and historically closely connected to each other.
